Currently the munsell color book is made with color swatches that go up to nearly a chroma = 18 (less for older publications) for most hue pages and you'll find that even by today's standards these high chroma colors are very intense and you will rarely use a color this high in chroma for realistic paintings. However, i had not found correct references to the i finally found this site, thank you very much for making all of the munsell original studies available to me! The latter is the modern successor to in the munsell book, the samples are arranged so that all the samples on one page are the same hue as judged visually.
